Premier Inn Preston Central hotel

Great location. Access to amenities once you get orientated. Shops, market all close to hand. Walking distance to train station. Taxi office out side front door if you need to travel further a field. We had an accessible room. It was large with nice low bed and bath, plenty of grab rails in bathroom. Fairly quiet.

This was a pretty decent, standard Premier Inn with large sized rooms, but it does have a couple of let downs. Firstly, the Reception area only has one self service check in machine and is very short staffed so we had to wait around 15 minutes to actually get out keys even though we had checked in on the app. Secondly, the breakfast area is too small for the size of the hotel but despite this frequently ran out of things, and I don't mean food. I had to wait for a bowl, wait for a mug, wait for cutlery which added to the chaos. The location is great, just a couple of tweaks required. One other point, Reception is on the first floor and the only way to get there is a lift as the stairs are keycard enabled. So if you don't like lifts, something to consider.

Great value and location in the town centre. The close proximityto the railway station is particularly useful to me and to people who are traveling onto other places. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff I met very friendly.

Wonderful room. Clean, comfortable and quiet. The location was great, within walking distance to cafes, bars, restaurants and the train station. Had had the breakfast one morning and it was very good. Staff was helpful and friendly.

The room was lovely and the staff were really friendly. The food in the restaurant was lovely, however on my last morning there was nobody on reception or in the reception. I was waiting to be seated as the sign requests for about 10 minutes before I gave up and sat myself. Thankfully i already had a meal deal paid for, but anyone could have walked in. The hotel itself was lovely inside but I did feel slightly uneasy walking to and from the hotel due to the area, especially as a young girl on my own.

Fantastic, clean and modern rooms (I stayed in the Premier Plus room). Very centrally located with easy paid for parking right next doors. But more importantly it is the staff downstairs that matters. Ismail, Phil and Sophie have been consistently friendly and extremely professional over multiple stays. Highly recommend this particular premier inn when in Preston!

Me and my Mum stayed here over the weekend, from the 8th of November until the 9th of November, and I must say that we were very impressed. The location was perfect, with everything being within walking distance. The room quality was to a very high standard and we felt so comfortable and safe. The room was also very quiet at all times. Our experience in this hotel was really heightened through the service delivered by both Ismail and Phoenix; they provided phenomenal customer serivce, as did all the cleaners that we spoke to and the morning restaurant staff. All staff members are such hard workers, and I cannot thank them all enough for just how special they made this trip for us. Thank you!

I had a really pleasant stay at the Premier Inn and was impressed by the comfort and quality throughout my visit. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, truly living up to its reputation as a “luxury bed.” The mattress was soft yet supportive, with clean linens and plush pillows, making it easy to enjoy a deep and restful sleep. The room was clean, quiet, and well maintained, creating a relaxing environment after a long day. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming. The food was another highlight of the stay. The food was fresh, tasty, and great value for money. Service during meals was smooth, and staff were polite and helpful. Overall, Premier Inn provides an excellent balance of comfort, quality food, and value. It’s a great choice for both short and long stays, whether travelling for business or leisure. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others.
